Our Story

Orion Atlas Aquatics was born from a simple frustration - my wife and I love aquariums, but not the maintenance or the noise. We wanted quiet, crystal clear aquatic life without adding to our list of chores. So we built it.

The AstraReef Hybrid System is the result - a combination of under-gravel and mechanical filtration that almost eliminates maintenance time. We’re based in Essex, Ontario, Canada, and we’re building something we believe the whole world deserves access to.
